Painted Pup Australian Shepherds is an ethical and responsible breeder using best practices and a commitment to each and every puppy. We are available for questions and assistance for the lifetime of the dog and we love being able to help.
Our puppies are available to approved homes only. Painted pup is a no-shelter breeder. If for some reason an owner is no longer able to care for their dog, the dog must be returned to Painted Pup or we will help place the dog in an appropriate home. Unless otherwise agreed upon, we require all owners to sign spay/neuter contracts to ensure the continued health and welfare of the breed and the individual dog.
Every puppy is sent home with updated veterinary care including health certificates, vaccinations, deworming and all puppies have been microchipped. All Painted puppies are given a 2 year genetic health guarantee. All puppies also go home with a free 30 day health insurance plan!
We do not dock or remove tails. We allow puppies to live their lives with their natural born, beautiful, long tails!

We are so excited for this combination. August is extremely loving, gentle, goofy and biddable, as is Caspian. Caspian is a small standard who loves his family and likes to stick close by. He has a classic Aussie temperment. August is a bigger Aussie with loyable personality. If there is something entertaining happening, its usually coming from August. She is extremely smart, which sometimes gets her into trouble, but there is never a dull moment when she is around. Both Caspian and August love kids and are always happy when people visit them to give them lots of pets…. I mean meet their puppies. We love this combination, they will be Beautiful Pups that will have intelligent, sweet, loyal, adoring, gentle personalities. Aussies who will thrive in sport, herding, family life and be a great life long companion. Cute Adorable Mini Aussies with great temperaments! We are expecting Blue Merle, Red Merle, Red Tri and Black Tri from this litter. Mom is 15” and Dad is 14”, and each weigh around 25 pounds, so these pups will boast an amazing small package, perfect size! We are so excited for this combination. Pippi is intelligent, sweet, devoted little girl! She is amazing off leash and gets along well with everyone.
